Extended Access

The surgery will be open for 2 Saturday mornings a month 08.30 - 12.30 (usually 2nd and 4th in the month) & Tuesday evenings from 18.30 - 20.30 from August 9th 2008. Only routine pre-booked appointments will be available with a GP during the extra opening hours. The new extended hours have been very working well for patients who are unable to visit the surgery at normal times, and the PPG has found that patients have been extremely grateful to the GPs for taking on this new schedule. (Please note that the new Contract with GPs states that it is for pre-booked appointments only, hence those made before the day. This is unlike the contract previously which was for emergency on the day appointments on a Saturday. The Saturdays that are available are usually the 2nd and 4th in the month, but may change due to Bank Holidays and our GPs support of the Out of Hours rota. Please check with the surgery in order to plan a suitable appointment.)

Out of Hours

When the surgery is closed, please call 01628 524646, and you will be automatically re-directed to the Out of Hours Service. If you need urgent advice, a doctor is always 'on call' out of surgery hours, from 6.30pm to 8.30 am, Monday to Friday and all weekend.
