Diabetic Clinic

Patients are sent a reminder letter to make an appointment when their review is due.
We like to see all our Diabetic patients annually, with a 6 month interim 'mini-review' with our health care assistant. Our Dietitian is available to see all our Diabetic patients on a regular basis.

Midwife Clinic / Maternity Care / Preconception Care

Prior to having a family we would advise you and your partner to have a lifestyle check. We can give advice on diet and for women to be checked for immunity to German Measles. We also try to help a couple if they are unable to conceive. Ante-natal care is provided by the doctors on an individual basis so as to maximise continuity of care, however the Midwife also runs a Clinic every Thursday morning.

Parenting Courses

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead run these courses. Find out more information here.

Ultrasound Screening

We have an ultrasound scanner in the Medical Centre and two of our Doctors have the necessary training to undertake certain scans on the premises. If your Doctor feels you need a scan, he/she will refer you. However, many scans still need to be done in a Hospital.

Home Nursing

Patients who are confined to their homes and need assistance may arrange with their doctor for a district nurse to call. The hospital will normally arrange for the nurse to call on patients discharged from hospital but who still need nursing at home.
